What to bring?

What to bring to Lake Natron Camp?

For people that are unsure on what to bring to Lake Natron Camp, we have put together a  kit list of items we recommend you bring!

Sun cap
Wide brimmed hat
Sunglasses
buff (in case of sand storms)
Water bottle
Waterproof jacket (just in case!)
Shirts (long sleeve, loose fitting shirts to throw on over tops or dresses to protect you from the sun and insects)
Lightweight shorts/ skirts
Lightweight trousers (NOT JEANS)
Trainers, that can also get wet (if going to the Ngare Sero waterfalls it is best to wear trainers that can get wet)
Swim clothes (for the waterfalls and for the natural pool)
Hiking boots & socks (if climbing Oldoinyo Lengai or for wearing at camp at night time in case of scorpions/ snakes)
Flip flops (for walking around at day time)
Headlamp
Sun cream
Mosquito repellant
Day rucksack (for carrying water, spare clothes, sun cream, towels when doing activities

*If climbing Oldoinyo Lengai helmets and Maasai walking sticks will be provided. A warm jacket and fleece will be needed so please bring this with you if you would like to climb the volcano.
